Prince George, B.C. - December 2010 in Prince George was a  relatively dry one.  The monthly weather  summary by  Environment Canada meterologist Jim Steele  shows  precipitation was about 1/5th of what  is normal for December.

Here is his full report:

The month began on the mild side with a quick cool down before the 1st week was through. Another burst of mild air sent temperature back to the mild side during the 2nd week accompanied by some periods of rain. Winter arrived once again just after mid month with the coldest readings for the month. The big warm up began on the 22nd and persisted for almost a week sending temperatures close to record values with the mildest day on the 24th. In typical fashion, winter had to come back to round out the month with a cold finish.
On the precipitation side of things, it was a very dry month with little in the way of snowfall recorded. Snowfall amounts varied through the area, depending on elevation, with between 10 and 15 cm, well below the normal 54 cm.
Into the record books, December 2010 will show a mild and very dry month.

I'm voting for mild and snowy.

Snow packs are at 50-60% of normal.

I would like some water in my water holes this year. And a bumper crop and ....

Happy New Year - good health and happiness!
