Home Invasion in Prince George

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP are investigating a home invasion that  took place  shortly after 11:00 this morning.

Police got the  9-1-1 call  reporting a home invasion on Juniper Street  at 11:19 this morning. 
 
Police believe an adult male, described as First Nations in his 20's wearing a tan hoodie, blue jeans and runners, entered a residential home with a large edged weapon demanding drugs. 
 
The suspect was unable to control both persons inside the residence, which caused him to flee. 
 
The male suspect and an unidentified driver fled the area in an older, dark coloured Honda vehicle.  No one was hurt during this incident.
 
Police say further details will be provided as they become available.
