Property Assessment Details On the Way

Prince George, B.C. – The annual property assessment notices will be arriving this week and information already released indicates assessed residential values in Prince George are up 5.2 % over last year. The assessments estimate the value of your property as of the previous July 1st in each year, based on market value.
The Assessments were mailed out last Friday, and should arrive in the mail by the end of this week.

2. Click on “e-valueBC – compare assessments online” on the home page.
3. Select your property, and view other property values in your neighbourhood, or anywhere in B.C.
Last year, assessments were mailed to about 29 thousand property owners in Prince George . Last year, the total value of those properties was assessed at $8.25 billion dollars, down from the previous year’s value of $8.28 billion.
We do know that Mackenzie saw the biggest jump in assessed value of residential properties, up 21.25% over last year.

Ft. St. James Up 15.44%
Quesnel up 4.43%
Williams Lake up 3.79 %
Prince Rupert Up 2.35%
Kitimat DOWN 19.10%
Terrace, up 3.53%
