anyone know the cause yet?
There was a report of a bright blue flash near Tabor and Ospika. Maybe a transformer?
Work Safe BC (WCB) should be getting the people out of these schools and told not to return till power comes back on.
No Power,No Light,No Heat means these are dangerous building to be in.
Save the Workers/Save the Children
High school students told to pay attention to the radio to see when the school will re-open. I wonder how many are doing that right now?!
This is getting boring real quick. Anyone hear what the cause of the outages are. Considering our Hydro rates, does it have anything to do with cutbacks maintaining the system in good weather so we're left in a lurch in the winter time with poor maintenance or old equipment? There are some people I know with medical equipment that they depend on at night, can mean a ride to the hospital. Wish Hydro was a little more open with causes.
On the BC Hydro site, it says the fault is a "cable fault". Est time will be fixed is midnight.
