Man Faces Robbery Charges

Prince George, B.C.-  A 47 year old man from the southern interior is in court in Prince George today accused of  being the person behind two armed robberies from last night.

Around 7:30 last night, a lone male robbed the Shooters Liquor Store  in the 1600 block of Victoria Street.  The suspect claimed to have a firearm, but none was seen by the clerk.  The suspect escaped with a small amount of cigarettes.
 
At about 10:00 PM, the First Litre Cold Beer and Wine Store located in the 1700 block of Strathcona Avenue was robbed of cigarettes and liquor.  A short time later, Prince George RCMP members located and arrested a suspect without incident.   
 
Prince George RCMP are recommending charges of Robbery with a Firearm (x2), Uttering Threats and Public Mischief.  The investigation continues.

He`ll be back out thieving in about 6 mos.Now he has a nice warm bed to sleep in.
If you drive on the sidewalk to escape getting beat to death that gets you 6 years no licence and 18 mos in jail. Go figure!
