Prince George, B.C.- Starting tomorrow, and running through to the 27th of this month, parents have an opportunity to make sure their children are set for a healthy future.

The Health Day Circuit will see about a thousand kindergarten students visit the one stop shop for immunization, hearing, vision, and dental screenings. The circuit will also provide information on injury prevention and nutrition.

Sponsored by School District 57 and Northern Health, the Health Day Circuit will be held at the Northern Interior Health Unit Auditorium at 1444 Edmonton Street in Prince George.

“The Health Day Circuit is an opportunity to bring parents, children and service providers together in a way that makes it most convenient for everyone involved,” said Karen Wonders, Public Health Nursing Program Manager. “It’s a fun and effective way to help parents assess the health of their kindergarten-aged children.”

You can find more information  about appointment times for the Health Day circuit by contacting the Northern Interior Health Unit at 250-565-7381.
