Shooting On 17th Accidental

Prince George- RCMP are now saying that following an investigation, the shooting in the leg of a man in the 1700 block of 17th St, may have been accidental.
 
The shooting occurred January 6th.
At the time of the shooting, three men were arrested in connection with the shooting of the 20 year old man, a resident in the home.
 
He was taken to University Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
 
Police say all three men were released a short time later and no charges are contemplated against them.
 
Police say the shooting may have been accidental and did not involve anyone but the victim.

LMAO!!! You seriously shot yourself in the leg and reported it as someone else?
I hope filing a false police report charges are pending. Even though he shot himself, I like to see salt rubbed in the wounds of this type of goof!
So how can there be no charges? If the police find a loaded weapon in my house I would be charged for improper storage etc etc - but if you are stupid enough to shoot yourself then its ok?
I would say I shot myself in the leg as well, if I thought the next shot would be about eye level.
