Police Say Snowmobile Thefts Are Up

Prince George- Police are reporting a number of snowmobile thefts. Two snowmobiles and a trailer were stolen from a residence on Big Fir Rd in Beaverley at 8.00am. Tuesday.
 
One of the stolen machines was recovered in an open pit near the 3600 block of highway 16 west. The second machine was recovered a short time later.
 
In an unrelated incident, a member of the public called, to report , that they were witnessing the theft of two snowmobiles on a trailer near the College Heights Pub just after 3pm. Tuesday.
 
Police were provided with a description of the thieves and a short time later, a 44 year old man from Red Rock was arrested.
 
Both of those snow machines have been recovered, although two other male suspects who were assisting the thief were not located.
 
The 44 year old has been charged with theft over $5,000 dollars, possession of cocaine and a can of bear spray.
Police say secure your snowmobiles because of the increased number of thefts.

The owner of the sleds should be able to go to the thiefs house and pick out whatever they want. Payback should be a bitch.
So two helpers but they haven't been located - this dirtbag obviously knows who they are. If he won't talk then their charges should be added to his.
