Guilty Plea in Pr. Rupert Murder

Prince Rupert, B.C. – A 21 year old Prince Rupert man has pleaded guilty to killing his father and another relative.
Edward Paul Dundas pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the death of his father Randy Clifford Dundas and the attempted murder of a 50 year old man.
Prince Rupert RCMP found the body of Dundas after they were called out to a disturbance at a 2nd Avenue West apartment building August 8, 2009. There they also found the second victim lying on the floor covered in blood. The man was suffered from more than fifteen stab wounds to his face, neck, and back.
Two days later, RCMP were able to arrest Edward Paul Dundas in connection with the homicide after tips from the public. Dundas was charged with the crimes the following day.
Dundas will be back in court April 19th for sentencing in Prince Rupert.
