Heavy Snow On The Way
By 250 News
Prince George, B.C. - Environment Canada has issued a heavy snowfall warning for parts of the Central and Northern Interior, as well as the North Columbia.
The weather service says a Pacific frontal system will move into the interior of the province this evening, bringing with it a heavy snow to blanket the region.
In Prince George, there is a 60-percent chance of snow throughout the afternoon, before a forecast 5-10cm begins falling tonight. The snowfall, at times heavy, will continue into tomorrow, with between 10-15cm expected.
The temperature is expected to hold steady at about minus-15 overnight, but the wind will move in tomorrow as well - gusts of about 20km/hr, coming from the north.
On Monday, Environment Canada is, once again, calling for snow before a mix of sun and cloud on Tuesday and a high of minus-3.
