Prince George, B.C. – A 23 year old Prince George man is facing charges following the search of a downtown apartment.
 
Prince George RCMP say  they executed a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon on an apartment in the London Hotel on 3rd Avenue.
 
The search resulted in the seizure of 20 grams of cocaine, ecstasy pills, methamphetamine, and various prescription drugs, in addition to over $1000 in cash and prohibited weapons.  A 23 year old male Prince George resident was arrested at the scene.  Charges of trafficking in a controlled substance are being recommended to Crown Counsel.  The accused has been released on a Promise to Appear for court in April 2011.

This search was the result of tips from the general public and the assistance of local businesses. The Downtown Enforcement Unit offers thanks to those who offered information and co-operation in this case.

Methinks all this stuff that was seized by the cops did not belong to the perp in question. He was most likely a "middle man". I also think he is gonna have some "..splainin'" to do to the owners of said junk. Here's hoping.
