Prince George, B.C. – It is very likely, the two Prince George MLA’s will publicly announce their support for Liberal leadership hopeful Kevin Falcon this morning.
Falcon’s team has an event scheduled for 9 this morning at the Coast Inn of the North. Minister of Forests, Mines and Lands, Pat Bell, and Minister of Transportation, Shirley Bond, will be in attendance.
As Opinion 250 reported yesterday, the event has been publicized as a “Kevin Falcon Event”, and the media advisory has been issued by the Falcon team.

The Three Stooges
amen.
Can the nay sayers tell me what Shirley Bond and Pat Bell did wrong? I mean letting the B.C N.D.P again sounds more like suicide to me.
"Blind obedience", Chris. That's what they ALL did wrong. And there's NO evidence that's going to change. So what will be, will be.
Blind obedience is a matter of opinion, not a matter of fact.
ALL party politics in Canada involve following a leader. We are NOT talking about PG City politics where the Mayor is not a leader in the same fashion as a leader of a political party.

If you think the NDP are any different, then you are rather naive.
Falcon represents the far right of the liberals. He will make Gordo look like a lightweight when it comes to selling this province out from under us. There is still time for a centre of the spectrum party. Isn't that what the majority of BCers really want?
You're right gus...but it is that same blind obedience to self-serving leaders within the party system that has rendered the voter nothing more than an after-thought to these self-serving, trained seals.
Except at the ballot box, once every 4 years, that is!
Then it is suck-up bigtime!
The party system was designed by politicians,to benefit polticians.
It is good to see constituents fighting back when those they voted for, don't listen to them.
They shouldn't have a choice...you either listen to those that voted for you...or you are gone!
On a side note, why didn't anyone question Gordo's attendance, on invitation, to the Bilderberger meeting last year, on the taxpayer dime. Where was the media on that.
Ben?
Elaine?
Peter?
NDP supporters want Liberal MLAs to not practice *blind obedience or eyes wide open obedience* but as far toeing the party line within their own party goes, they not only expect blind obedience, but they don't criticize it and when somebody speaks up (MLA Simpson!!!, remember?) the NDP MLA gets the boot.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Fully agree with your opinion, Andyfreeze!
I want anyone who actually will work for their contituents. Not vote how they are told to by their leader...but for the best interest for the people that voted for them. None of them do that anymore.. its all about towing the party line and why.. greed... If I tow the line I may get a ministry..which in turn pads my retirement ( which is a appalling to say the least)

Crooks .. only different is their gang colours are suits.
