Cougars Add Spirit of the North HealthCare to List of Supported Charities

Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have entered a partnership with the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
Until Monday February 28th, 2011, season tickets can be purchased at a pro-rated price, and 20% of the purchase price will be donated to one or all of the charities/organization; Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Prince George Hospice Society, Baldy Hughes Addiction Treatment Centre & Therapeutic Community, Canadian Cancer Society, Child Development Centre, or AIMHI. All charitable proceeds collected will stay in Northern British Columbia and season ticket holders will then be eligible to buy a Playoff Package.

Playoff Packages for current Season Ticket Holders of the 2010-2011 season go on sale today at the Ticketmaster Box Office inside the CN Centre.
Season Ticket Holders can secure seats for potentially all 4 rounds of play-offs. The BC division is extremely competitive this season and your Cougars are hoping to claim the top spot with help from the stands.
“We are very excited about our new partnership and how beneficial it will be to our community. Also, by increasing the number of season ticket holders we are one step closer to making a successful 2013 Memorial Cup bid” said Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky.
