Interim Leader Announces NDP Caucus Appointments

Prince George, B.C. -  The interim leader of the B.C. New Democratic Party has announced the appointment of two caucus executive positions.

Dawn Black has appointed Surrey-Whalley MLA Bruce Ralston as House Leader and Victoria-Swan Lake MLA Rob Fleming as Deputy House Leader.

The party is set to elect a new leader on April 17th.  There are six candidates vying for the post to replace former leader Carole James:  Adrian Dix, Mike Farnworth, Harry Lali, John Horgan, Dana Larsen, and Nicholas Simons.

Only party members who were registered by January 17th are eligible to cast a vote for the new leader.
