Two Suspects Sought As Bogus Bills Pop Up

Prince George, B.C. -  RCMP are out with a warning to local businesses, following a rash of cases involving counterfeit $50 and $20 bills...

Police say the bogus bills are of very poor quality, being photocopied.  Nonetheless, they began showing up in the city last night.  Several were passed at local fast food restaurants.  And just today, at some of the grocery stores.

RCMP say, so far, seven files have been opened.  They're seeking the public's help in locating two suspects:

  1. a female described as between the ages of 25- and 30-years old, with a slim build, approximately 5'2".  She was wearing a black ball cap and black and white checkered hoodie.
  2. a caucasian male described as between 20- to 25-years of age, he's described as chubby, with a goatee, and short dark hair.  He was last seen wearing a white hoodie.
