Prince George, B.C. - Prince George biathlete Aaron Neumann had his strongest showing at the Winter Games in Halifax in the 10km Sprint...

Neumann finished in 6th place and was the top B.C. finisher.  Two other Caledonia Nordic Ski club members were also competing in the event - Arthur Roots placed 12th and Rob Martin came in 22nd spot.

All three have their final biathlon event later today - the 12.5km Pursuit.

Another disappointing loss for Team BC's wheelchair basketball team.  After starting out the games with two wins, the team notched its second defeat yesterday, falling 52-40 to Saskatchewan.  They're now in 3rd place in Pool B and will play Nova Scotia today.  On a high note, though, local athlete Avril Harris is in 12th spot on the high score list with a total of 62-points.

After having yesterday off, BC's hockey team is back on the ice, playing Manitoba in quarter-final action.

BC finished the round robin with one win, and two losses (one of those in overtime).  Josh Connolly of Prince George is on the team.
