Wells Skis First Event At Winter Games

Prince George, B.C. - Prince George skier, Alix Wells, finished in 17th spot in the Giant Slalom, her first of three events at the 2011 Winter Games in Halifax.

Wells, a 15-year-old who has been dividing her time between Prince George and Invermere for training this winter, will be competing in the Super Combined at Ski Wentworth later today.
In cross-country skiing, 21-year-old Matt Neumann will be lining up in a mass start for the 15km Classic race today.
