The UNBC womens basketball team won a hard fought quarter-final game at the BCCAA Provincials in Abbosford against the Camosun Chargers this evening. The final score was UNBC 65 - Camosun 62.
The T-wolves were led by 5th year forward Sarah Moxley with 14 pts and 8 rebounds. Both Mercedes VanKnoughnett and Erin Moxley chipped in with 12 pts.
The women will play against Capilano (the top seed in the tournament) Friday night in the semi-final.
The defending champion UNBC mens basketball team received a first round bye. The Timberwolves play their semi-final game Friday against the Capilano Blues.
