WOW, i have seen some ugly criminals in my time but PG takes the cake. Mr. Erikson looks like that dude from the Goonies movie. LOL
I went out to the snowmobile races at the Raceway Park out Chief Lake Road last Saturday and seen first hand the work of local gangsters. The whole event was a joke of a backyard amateur hour all around.

Anyways my brother called me in the morning and asked me to go with him. We thought maybe see some nice sleds race... not much of a show though. Went to see some sleds race and ended up watching a fight.

Apparently the son of the owner of the park was doing security... shady skinny young character in plain cloths... he spotted someone that was a spectator they didn't like from a previous situation I gather... so he called up his gangster buddies to come out and help him evict the guy from watching the race... next thing I know like 6 gangster like dudes walk up and surround this guy that was standing about 20 feet from where we were... an argument breaks out something about he has to leave and the guy asked to leave is insulted by the request and had done nothing wrong he was saying... the one gangster guy tries to grab him, so the guy starts throwing punches and takes the gangster guy down good and is beating on him bad... I had no idea what was going on, but they were all small guys so I figured I'd step in maybe to break it up as I don't want to have my girlfriend see a guy get killed in front of us... so I started walking closer... then suddenly all these gangsters pulled out these huge knives with like foot long blades and started waving them around... I stepped back and figured I'd let them sort it out and have no part in brokering a peace... very tense moments (the race continued on which I was surprised)... the one beat up gangster started waving his knife around and he was covered in blood from being beaten up and looked like he had rabies. I figured it was time to leave, my girlfriend was freaked out by what she saw and we seen enough... apparently these gangster dudes were the security?

I don't like being at an event where the security comes down to 6 gangster dudes with foot long knives they're waving around.

IMO those guys should be on a list like this too... if not now I'm sure they're not far behind.
@Eagleone That is insane! This event was hyped on the radio all last week, and I had even considered going. Thank god i chose not to. Surprised this hasn't been in the news.

Take her to watch the submarine races Eagle One.
Much more peaceful, I am told.
metalman.
do you think they make movies about people and then the people are made-thay make movies about real people -this is them .
Does anyone call this sort of situation in? I'm assuming illegal weapons, etc? Assault charges? Or does everyone just sit back and watch?
So Eagleone, the question I'm asking, did you or someone you know, call police? Or are we left to wonder if these gangster looking dudes carrying the knives were under any court prohibitions? If the police were not called, can we expect them to show up at another function, waving knives again because no one acted? I'm not pointing a finger at you, that was a disgusting thing to witness, but are there others out there who saw this and can identify these fools, maybe assist our community in getting rid of these idiots?
Got a nice reply letter last week from the Deputy Attorney General saying we can't ban gang types from our community after they're convicted. Still reading the letter, trying to figger out why the hell not. I'm sure our regional crown and judges are scratching their heads as well.
Slim I tried... no one had a phone other than one guy... he gave me his blackberry, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to phone... kept trying give letters and not numbers... couldn't figure out how it worked and everyone else was to involved watching out and didn't want to be seen as the one phoning maybe I don't know... I was pissed that the guy with the phone didn't call himself... others were to busy staying out of the way I guess... I heard later from someone else that was there racing that the police did come out at some point as someone with knives later tried to rob the concession stand, but that's only hearsay.

When I couldn't get my brothers phone to work I said we are leaving and we left right away... the whole thing took place in like 2-3 minutes and was over... the main gangster instigator was beaten up pretty bad, and with all the people surrounding the fight not sure many others noticed it as much because the races continued on the whole time it was happening. I wish I had my phone on me because I would have taken pictures of it to pass along to the police possibly... I don't want those guys wandering around the community either....

They brought the knives out once their guy got beaten up so they were more defensive than anything at that point like a cornered animal... still very dangerous because once knifes like that are out anything can happen. Strange thing was nobody ran away, and I think they felt it was them against the crowd at that point... they made the right choice eventually and walked away after they did their song and dance.
Hey Eagle, you did your best.
Well done, getting your lady out of there safe.
Unfortunately these gangsters are a little short on brain cells, couple real dumb ones up on the hill.
