Truck Loses Load on North Nechako

A pile of logs litter the side of North Nechako road, where a logging truck lost its load earlier today.

The incident happened  just east of Morning Place, the same place a similar accident happened  about two years ago.

No injuries reported, and  damage to private property seems minimal.  The Vanguard travel trailer  visible in the bottom left of the photo was not so lucky last time.

The neighbourhood has been sensitive to the travel of logging trucks on this road, predicting  this kind of accident.  Trucks  have been using North Nechako Road, although in the past, the  contracts to move wood have called  for  truck traffic to exit the site north to Chief Lake Lake Road.

that's what happens when you "drive it like ya stole it".

later...........
In case you do not understand yet, Kris, logging truck accidents, as well as other trucking accidents, in addtion to forestry related deaths and injuries, are the subject of closer scrutiny by the province, by WCB, by the unions, by ICBC, by the RCMP, by forestry Associations such as the CILA, NWLA, SILA, TLA, WSCA, etc. etc.

Meisner, I am afraid to say, is a small fish in that pond of people who care.

If all you are prepared to do is spit in the pond, that is the way some people in this world simply are, I suppose.
Ditto to what Owl already said.

And add this.
These are supposed to be professional drivers.
Yet they seem to crash a LOT !!!
Its not Meisner that needs to be called on this item...its the drivers that are clueless how to drive.

My 2 cents
