Prince George, B.C. – It is back to court today for Prince George City Councillor Brian Skakun.

Accused of breaching the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Skakun’s court case started in October, was heard over three days, then adjourned to December, and adjourned again until today.
While  the remaining testimony is only expected to take one day, two days have been set aside just in case.

At issue is the release of a confidential report about two City Staff members and the former Officer in Charge of the Prince George RCMP detachment. While that report concluded the allegations against the three were unfounded, the report somehow made its way into the hands of a CBC reporter and on to the CBC’s  website.

Rather strange that the top cop in PG left town so quickly after all the good news on the hanky panky going on between him and the City staff.

I'm pleased that who ever did the leaking had the balls to let us know.

Go Brian go.
