Prince George, B.C. - The first 'official' day of spring break in School District 57 isn't until tomorrow, but there's already an activity to keep the kids busy today...

Safari Jeff and Shannon are back at Pine Centre Mall for the first of a three-day stop to put on their "Living Wild" animal educational show.

Billed as Canada's Number One mall attraction, the show hit a bump when it first tried to visit the mall in Prince George back in 2008 because some of the reptiles involved contravened the city's exotic animals bylaw.  (click here for previous story)  The pair tailored their menagerie to fit within city guidelines during their Prince George stop and have been back to appreciative crowds in subsequent years.

Safari Jeff offers a chance to get up close and personal with some of the planet's most visually captivating creatures.

There are shows at 1pm and 4pm today.  And two shows tomorrow and Tuesday, at 11am and 2pm.

In my opinion we owe a big Thank you SPCA for ruining part of a good show...
The animal performance bylaw was introduced and enforced by the city bylaw department, and has nothing to do with the spca.
I seen this show in Calgary with my oldest daughter about 3 years ago now .... it was awesome ... going to attend this one as well

Actually drexel...if my memory serves me correctly. the bylaw was introduced due to a few at the spca complaining .. started with circus animals and they used it to encompass everything...surprised they haven taken on the rodeo yet...

considering what has been removed from the show, it still remains a good attraction...
