P-G Mayor Collects More than $120 Grand

Prince George Mayor Colin Kinsley’s job, continues to be one of the better paying positions the city has to offer.

Kinsley received $84,385 dollars serving as Mayor last year, along with a further $15,203 dollars in expenses. One third of his salary is non taxable.

Over at the Regional District of Fraser- Fort George where Kinsley serves as the Chairman of the Regional District Board, he received a further $21,323.47 in salary of which one third is non taxable, $950 dollars for attending committee meetings and a further $1,612.98 in expenses for a grand total of $ 123,474.45.

If he opts to accept the proposal before the Regional Board for an additional $900 a year for technology expense, he will receive a total of. $124,474.45 assuming his salary and expenses remain the same this year.

It is not known whether vehicle allowance is included in this figure.

Although IMO I feel he is in over his head at the position of mayor,if you really think of it $120k per year to run one of the largest corporations north of hope,really this is not alot of money.

Jeez, what is 120+ grand a year when a guy has to keep up his image and life style. I hope he has a few perks thrown in, like the odd trip or two. Sure would be nice to holiday in Mexico once in awhile!!!!! He openly claims he has no garbage, but took on a small can anyhow. Wonder if he was looking to be compensated for this cash layout???? I guess we could all afford to eat and drink out on a shade under $125 grand a year. I'd have a red face too-or is that sunburn???
Don't be overly concerned. Nothing is going to faze old Colin. He sings his own praises on a regular basis. Guess he has never heard the expression- goes like this, " A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small package!"
Well, he may have a small garbage can, but lookin' at him I'd safely say he is eatin' and drinkin' somewhere!!!! Hard to keep up with the old boy, so I for one cannot say where? Hope it is occasionally on his own dime.
Anyone know what his retirement package will come in at??? Don't expect any of us writing in here will be invited to his going away party, but Go Away he must. Cheers!!!

120 thousand? IMO this clown doesn't deserve 20 thousand. The alchohol vote totally confused the ol fella. Come on people, is there any value here? Oh and by the way Gypsy, it is the Earl's patio on any ol sunny day where ol colin fills his face and beer mug.

120 g's eh? Let's cut the B.S.IMO C.K.'s padding the bank account for the next step. After selling P.G. down the road, Mr. Camaro is most likely headed down to set up shop kitty corner to the Empress hotel. I'm sure that Gordie can find a broom closet that Colin can fit into. Hmmm, What dept. could he be in charge of? Minister of cheap beer and red neck hot rods? How does that line in the job posting in the paper go? "Salary will be determined with credentials and experience."? Hmmmm.....

Gypsy ,Spanky and Milton thank-you for calling it the way it is and Lil Collin,all I have to say to you is "your days are numbered buddy"unless Rogers or Skakun run against you,if that happens then I'm sorry to say we are all hooped.
