Vanderhoof, B.C.-  A teen from the Stoney Creek reserve who suffered a severe beating last Friday night,   has been transferred back to Vanderhoof hospital.

The beating has been the source of two community meetings, and a third that is planned for later in the week.

Members came up with more than three dozen recommendations to reduce the violence on the reserve which concerned residents say is the result of alcohol and drug abuse among young people on the reserve.

While it was initially believed there were several youth involved in the attack on Brandon Fleur,   Vanderhoof RCMP say they are looking for one suspect.

Vanderhoof RCMP Staff Sergeant Beach says while there may have been other youth in the background, their investigation indicates there was just one attacker, a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
