Northland Dodge  is said to be "exploring" avenues to appeal the ruling from the Motor Dealer Council.

It has been more than a month since the Council ruled Northland would have to pay  a $50,000 fine, and it's sister company $10,000 for what the Council labelled  a "consistent pattern of unacceptable business practices. " (see complete ruling)

The fines were to be  paid within 30 days or face the possible  cancellation of their licenses.

The Registrar, Ken Smith  has made it clear, he stands by his ruling, and believes the fines will stand.
