Prince George, B.C. – The President of the Canadian Nurses Association, Judith Shamian is in Prince George for what is  the second stop in a cross country tour.
 
Shamian is   part of a team that is on a mission to start a national dialogue about the future of Canada’s health system.  
 
The Canadian Nurses Association supports a new health accord that includes pharmacare and home care coverage, and shifts the systems funding toward community based care, health promotion and chronic disease prevention.
 
The Prince George stop is the second in the national tour which started in New Brunswick and will  head to Whitehorse next.
