Prince George, B.C.- The Liberal candidate for the Prince George-Peace River riding is Ben Levine, a lawyer in Prince George.
His nomination was confirmed at a meeting in Prince George last night.
Levine says he wants to make this riding an "economic powerhouse" and says he would start by encouraging more investment in the Gateway corridor which he says the Conservatives have ignored.
He says he thinks he can give the Conservatives a real " run for their money" because although the riding has repeatedly elected a Conservative, the Tories have ignored the riding.
The 40 year old says he brings years of experience in representing people to the table through his legal practice in Prince George.
The list of nominees for the election for the riding is filling out as follows:
- Green Party: Hilary Crowley
- New Democrats: Lois Boone
- Conservative: Bob Zimmer
- Liberal: Ben Levine.
Nominations must be filed with Elections Canada by no later than April 12th.
