Woman Stabbed on Queensway

Prince George, B.C. - A Prince George woman  is recovering from a stab wound suffered in an attack last  night on Queensway.

Around 6:40 last night,  Prince George RCMP received a report of a stabbing in the 1600 block of Queensway in Prince George.

When police arrived on the scene, they  found a  woman who had suffered a single stab wound to the abdomen.   She was taken by ambulance to  the University Hospital of Northern B.C. for treatment and is expected to recover.

Police say this  stabbing was not a random act, that it was directly linked to the drug trade.  There have been no  arrests at this time.
