Voters List Being Updated

Prince George, BC. -The returning offices are open, and  Elections Canada has started revising the preliminary lists of voters for the Federal election on May 2nd.
Voters who are not on the list or who are listed at the wrong address can ask for a revision by contacting their local Elections Canada office.
 
In the case of the two Prince George ridings, the returning offices are as follows:
 

Cariboo- Prince George: 

-         Main office, Prince George - Suite 110, 1990 Ogilvie Street South toll free phone # 1-866-499-8023
-         Quesnel: C.D.C. building 488 MacLean Street
-         Williams Lake: 190- Oliver Street
 

Prince George – Peace River:

-         Main office, Dawson Creek : 10512- 13th Street   toll free # 1-866-546-7614
-         Prince George: Austin Road Elementary School, 4543 Austin Road West
-         Fort Nelson: School District Board Office, 5101 Airport Drive
 
Voter information cards will be mailed to all registered voters between April 6 and April 8. A voter who has not received a card by April 13, or who receives a card with incorrect information, may contact the Elections Canada office in his or her electoral district to correct the information.
 
 A reminder brochure will be mailed to every Canadian household between April 13 and April 15.
"I encourage all eligible voters to make sure they are on the voters list and that their information is correct and up to date. Just contact your local Elections Canada office and we will be happy to help you," says Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand.
