Prince George, B.C.- The Annual facilities Grants, (AFG) have been announced and there is no change for School District 57. “It is what we expected” says Brian Mix, the School District’s Treasurer.

 

School District 57 was allotted $1,996,786 for the capital part of the grant, and $1,141,020 for the operations.

 

“If we have a school roof to replace, or a school to repaint, this is the fund from which we could get those dollars.”

 

In all, the Ministry of Education has distributed about $110 million dollars throughout the School Districts in the province. Funds will be available to meet district spending plans so projects can proceed this summer.
