More Glory for Gill

Prince George, B.C.- For the second straight year, UNBC’s Inderbir Gill has been named the  British Columbia Colleges’ Athletic Association  Male Athlete of the year.
 
This award crosses the four sports in which the Association participates ;  Badminton, Basketball, Soccer & Volleyball.
 
This has been a great year for the 6'0" guard from Spokane as he has been named:
        Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA)  athlete of the month for B.C.,  
        CCAA All-Canadian,
        CCAA Academic All-Canadian,
        BCCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Year,
        CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Year,
        BCCAA Provincial Championship All-Star &
        CCAA National Championship 2nd team All-Star.
 
 
On the women’s side, the top female athlete of the year is Caitlin Nyhus of the UBC Okanagan Women’s Volleyball Team. Caitlin was also named a CCAA All-Canadian, CCAA Academic All-Canadian, BCCAA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year and was the BCCAA Provincial Championship Tournament MVP.
