Prince George, B.C.- The list of nominees for the Cariboo- Prince George riding is filling up.

The federal Liberals have named Sangetta Lalli as their candidate for the riding.

She doesn’t live in the riding, but  the political science student from UBC says she has knowledge of the area because she has spent time in the region.

Also on the ballot, Christian Heritage Party candidate Henry Thiessen.

The two will join Conservative Dick Harris, Green party candidate Heidi Redl and New Democrat Jon VanBarneveld in the race to be elected M.P for the riding.

and she doesn't live in the riding, but has spent some time there. What a load of crap. Shouldn't be allowed. I doubt she'll fair very well.
Funny thing is that the conservative candidate no longer lives in the riding either from what I hear... Just sayin. Quite sad really.
Everyone knows Dick won before the call. Over 50% in the last poll. Prince George Preace River is also sold big C.

The other parties are saying loud and clear "Who cares about Prince George? or Northern BC?"

The BC NDP must come up with reasonable candidates and a mining/resource economic policy. I know the NDP can not have anything but an anti mining policy. So the Provincial election will ignore the North and hope for the rural city divide.

Am I turning into an old ????

Besides Ms Clark is busy downgrading the Provincial NDP Platform by adopting social reform before the election. There will be nothing for the NDP to run on!

Imagine, not only a Liberal that wants to raise our taxes, but also wants to take away our firearms.....she should stay where her home is.....Vancouver?
Typical Lieberal! Only in it for the taxpayers money.Where's Prince George? Follow your nose......
"Imagine, not only a Liberal that wants to raise our taxes, but also wants to take away our firearms....."

The issue is the fire arms registry, whether to keep it or get rid of it. Now they will come to the house of a gun owner and take away the properly registered guns?

Good heavens! Unbelievable! What's next?
A candidate who doesn't live in the riding is the best the Liberals can do?
Really?
