Police Bust Grow-Op

Prince George RCMP have busted a large grow op in the Meadowlark Road are of the city.

Police spotted the operation  yesterday while responsding to a complaint in the area.  They secured the scene, got a search warrant and went through the house.  

Police say they seized 1200 B.C. bud plants in various stages of growth.  When fully mature, police say the plants would have had a street value of $1.2 million dollars.

No one was in the home at the time the search warrant was  executed.  Police continue their investigation and have yet to make any arrests.
