Mayor to Make Presentation In Torino Today

This afternoon, Mayor Colin Kinsley will make a presentation to an invited group of guests at the B.C. Canada Place in Torino Italy.

More than 100 people representing government, business and sporting organizations from Europe, are expected to attend the special reception, which is listed on the B.C.-Canada Place events list as "Prince George - Your Gateway to Northern Opportunities for 2010 and Beyond".  

Prince George Olympic  freestyle skier, Chris Wong,  will join the P.G. Team Torino group which is trying to sell the idea of using Prince George as a place to train for events prior to the 2010 games in Vancouver.  Prince George has set up a special "Train in PG" website, which offers information in several different languages.  

Mayor Kinsley has already indicated there is some interest from the Chinese in coming to Prince George to train  for 2010 events.

Oh give me a break Kinsley. You are giving a presentation to an "invited" group, and you will probably give out some more pins that , we the taxpayers have paid for. Oh by the way the holiday is over get your butt back here and get to work. I am tired of paying for your holidays, disguised as "business" trips.... Trouble is we are stuck paying for this crap for another 3 plus years. I knew you should not hae been voted it. I think I even told you so.
