Prince George, B.C. - Lots of snow left on the hill, but the season is over for the Tabor Mountain Ski Resort...

Manager, Virginia O'Dine, says it's often the case that people are ready to move on to their spring sports and leave the skiing behind, so the hill marked its last day of the 2010-11 season this past Saturday.

And what a high note to end on, with a visit from a six-member contingent from Snowboard Canada magazine. (click here, for previous story)

O'Dine says Tabor actually opened the season at Christmas with the least amount of snow its ever had, but winter came on with a vengeance in January.  Overall, she says, it was a pretty good season.

The hill does not intend to be open for mountain biking this summer.  O'Dine says while those who came out last year had a lot of fun, she says, unfortunately, there just wasn't enough interest to make it a worthwhile venture this year.
