Prince George, B.C.- The Representative for Children and Youth, Mary Ellen Turpel- LaFond, has completed the initial review of the tasering of an 11 year old boy in Prince George.

She will discuss that review, and the next steps in her process, tomorrow morning.

Opinion 250 will pass along that information as soon as it becomes available.

The eleven year old was  in government care when, as a suspect in a stabbing incident, he was tasered by an RCMP officer on the evening of Thursday April 7th.

Opinion 250 has learned the child was holding an instrument and threatening to take his own life when the  decision was made to taser the boy.

I think the RCMP had no choice, he had to protect the person from harming himself.

Beside the city was going to be banning all "cides".
I wonder if this will change anyone's opinion how but if the police did it right or wrong
