The Northern BC & Yukon Division of the Canadian Red Cross is hosting a workshop tomorrow focusing on 'Community Resiliency'.

The event will be facilitated by Dr. Will Matthews, a renowned community developer and facilitator with both international and domestic expertise in building community strength and capacity.

Red Cross Disaster Services Coordinator, Sherri Flavel, says the goal of the workshop will be to have participants define what community resiliency is and the day is also meant to be an information-sharing session on what's being done within our community.

"So we'll be looking at topics such as reducing vulnerability, building capacity and linking agencies -- that type of thing," says Flavel.

The session runs from 11am until 2pm, with a lunch provided, in room 205 at the Civic Centre.  Anyone wanting more information can call 564-6566.

Should have a workshop for "reducing agencies, linking vulnerability and capacity building".
More goobly guk to develop requiremnets so the general public must pay for another permit for something.
