Heavy Snowfall Warning Continues

All the snowbirds looking at the site today, must be smiling. The tape measure shows just how much snow has been dumped on Prince George over the past 24 hours.
The second picture puts it all in perspective.
Further snowfall amounts of about 5 to 10 cm are expected today in Prince George as a moist pacific system is moving across B.C. today and will continue to spread snow heavy at times this morning.
Overnight 5 to 25 cm of snow fell across southern British Columbia. We aren't getting the worst of it. environment canada reports that since Saturday 50 to 90 cm has been reported near Revelstoke and there is another 5-10 cm on the way today.
A cold front will sweep across British Columbia from the north late today giving a return to cooler temperatures with more snow and more wind to southern interior.

I've got a grader that loves to plow snow, any chance the city would hire a non union snow plow?
I bet you folks would be gagging on snow up past your arm pits, and the city would still not hire outside temporary help. Wouldn't want the city workers to go on strike just when people expect snow to be plowed.
