CNC Student States His Case

Accompanied by a ten minute video from various students across the province, Justin Simon (the Treasurer of the Students Association) has called on the Board of Governors of CNC not to increase tuition fees. 

Higher fees, he said ,are hurting those students trying to obtain a higher education. "here are alternate ways" he said "to make up the 2% increase in tuition fees this year for the base programs." 

He also called on the Board to re think the proposal to cut faculty and support worker positions in the tech section of the college. 

The Board is considering the new budget this afternoon
