The agenda for the Highway of Tears Symposium that is set for the end of the month here in Prince George, is nearly complete.  Organizer, Ren Zatorski says the details are just being fine tuned and the final package will be released later today.

Zatorski says  attendance by the Solicitor General and the RCMP have been confirmed, and there will be some other special guests.

She has been in contact with many of the families who have lost loved ones along highway 16.  "The grandmother of Ramona Wilson (murdered  in June 1994, remains found  near Smithers airport April '95) will start a walk from Smithers to Prince George.  Matilda Wilson is expected to arrive here at 9 a.m. on the 30th, to officially open the symposium" says Zatorski who says  organizers will meet Wilson at the Massey/Ospika intersection and walk with her for the final bocks to the CN Centre.  Zatorski says members of Nicole Hoar's family will also be here.  Nicole disappeared in June 2002 .

Zatorski expects approximately 500 people to atend the two day symposium. set for the 30th and 31st at the CN Centre.

In the meantime, she says Matilda Wilson  could use some help.  She says the grandmother  would sure appreciate the use of  a trailer or camper that could follow her on this journey.  Anyone willing to help can contact Rena Zatorski at the Lheidli T'enneh Band Council office 963-8451.
