Local Man Charged In International Porn Case

Prince George RCMP have now released the nature of charges laid against a 28 year old Prince George man.

Charges of posession of child pornography material 163.1(4)C.C. and possession of child pornography for the purpose of distribution 163.1(2)C.C. have been laid against 28 year old Kristan Hayes Ahola of Aitken Crescent.

Ahola was arrested March 6th when members of the Integrated Child Exploitation Unit exercised a search warrant at the Aitken residence. During that search, police seized a computer and computer storage items.

The investigation is part of case that involved arrests in several countries, including Britain, the U.S. and Canada.
