Highway 16 West Closed at Carmel

A serious accident involving a car and a semi truck on Highway 16 west at Carmel, has resulted in the closure of the highway at that point.

There is no alternate route for east or westbound traffic.

Police will advise when the highway has been re-opened.

Thee has been no word on the fate of those in the vehicles.
