As Canfor mulls over the impact of the softwood lumber deal, it prepares for it's Annual General Meeting which will be held later this morning.
The AGM is being held in Vancouver, and will be webcast live. The AGM is expected to get underway at 11:30 PST. You can log on at www.canfor.com
Canfor says with the acquisition of New South companies in March of this year, the results from New South will be consolidated from March 6th forward.
It is expected New South will have production of about 340 billion board feet of southern yellow pine by the end of this year.
Canfor says the Peace Valley OSB plant is still in its start up phase and is expected to operte at 65% to 75% of its 820 million square feet annual capacity in the second quarter of this year.
