Terrace Derail Clean Up

Heavy equipment has been called in to clean up the derailment in Terrace.  

Early Friday, 9 CN cars, flatdeck and box cars,  tipped off the tracks.

The derailment is  on the west side of the old bridge over the Skeena River.

No one hurt and CN says there was no spill of any goods as all the cars were empty at the time.  

The cause for the derailment is still under investigation.

CN woke us up at 1:48 this morning and we the rail line is even closer to the Fraser than this picture. Just a matter of time and where is the Mayor's concern? Mmmmmm
