The National Junior A Hockey Championsh runs May 5-13 , 2007  and Host Committee Co-CHair Dan Rogers is pretty happy with the  progress  being made " “We have a great team in place that has been working very hard to ensure the 2007 RBC Royal Bank Cup in Prince George will be a huge success on all fronts.”

Rogers, and  Phil Beaulieu are on their way to Streetsville Ontario (just west of Toronto)  which is hosting the 2006 Championship.  The visit will give them a chance to promote next year's event, and  gain some tips on how to make the Prince George event the best RBC Cup tournament ever.

So far,  the P.G. Committee  says one half of the tickets available for the 2007 event have been spoken for,  and work continues on securing major sponsors.  James Western Star Sterling lead the way with a  Gold level sponsorship.  Rogers says there is still a need for more volunteers.
