Robbery Suspect Facing More Than a Dozen Counts

A 37year old  Prince George man appears in court today to face 15 counts of armed robbery which took place over the past 6 months.

The Police say they picked up their suspect after investigating an armed robbery at the Eastway Esso on Boeing Road Friday night.  In that case, a man got away in a vehicle after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.  Police located the suspect vehcile a short time later and arrested a man and woman without incident.

RCMP Task Force members were called in to  continue the investigation as it was believed there may have been links to other hold ups.

The 37 year old man, George LeBlanc, is now facing 15 counts of armed robbery including, three at the Day and Night  Esso, two at Race TracGas, two a the SOuthside Shell,  two at the Southway Market Shell, the Esso on Domano, the Canadian Tire Gas bar, three at the Eastway Esso, and the April 30th hold up a the Supersave Gas station in the BCR site.

The female was released on her own recognizance.

Police say Task Force members continue to investigate.
