Couple Charged in Mr. G's Robbery

A 24 year old male, and 22 year old female  will appear in court today to  face charges of armed robery in connection with the  hold up of the Mr. G's on Boeing Road  in mid April.

During that heist, there were two suspects, armed with a handgun and knife. 

Over the weekend, pokice spotted a suspicous couple on Queensway. The male had an outstanding warrent and took off on foot up Connaught Hill.  Two off duty police officers in their own vehicle helped apprehend the suspect.

The female was arrested without incident.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police executed a search warrant early this morning and found several firearms, including handguns,  3 stolen rifles, and several other unregistered rifles.

In court today are 24 year old Christopher Ross Blaney and 22 year old Winter Frederick.
