Joe Rea poses with photo of the team he coached to gold

Joe Rea, the B.C. Curling Coach for  2004, and Coach of the Gold Medal winning paralympic curling team at Torino, accepted a gift from Mayor Kinsley.

The gift, and a note of gratitude were  given to Rea and to Moguls skier Chris Wong who both represented  Prince George at the  Winter Olympics in Torino.

Rea brought along his own surprise, with  a gift for Council.  He presented a photo of the gold winning team,  and presented an official Team Canada curling shirt to Mayor Kinsley.  The Mayor  was quick to put  on the shirt, saying it was a lot easier to put on than the Kelowna Rockets  sweater that he had to wear when Prince George lost a bet with that city.
