Antique  farm machinery and a racing sulky all part of the inventory offered at the Lloyd farm along Mud river.

One of the oldest families in the Prince George region has decided  to sell the farm.

Benand Jean Lloyd hosted the auction of equipment and farm tools today at their Mud River homestead. 

Hundreds turned out as everything from antique wood stoves, farm equipment, 

 "Victrolas"  fire fighting gear,  and even a kitchen sink were offered up for sale. 

photo at right shows some hopefuls bidding on a bundle of nuts, bolts and electrical equipment,  while  dozens more wandered the grounds looking at items that were next on the list.

Ben Lloyd says  the time has just come to retire.
