Busy Weekend on the Highways

While the official report has not yet been released, at least one highway traffic officer says it was a very busy weekend on the highways in the Prince George region .
One officer, who patrolled both 97 north and south and 16 East and West on Saturday says "In the morning there, was an awful lot of traffic heading towards Prince George, I figure that instead of heading to the lakes, people were heading to Prince George for a weekend of shopping. By Saturday at 1.00 p.m. there was very little traffic on all of the roads, but that sure changed Monday when the traffic became very busy."
A report from the highway traffic section dealing with the number of drivers charged with driving while impaired, or fined for seat belt infractions and speeding will be released later today.

I saw one lady driver who was very bad, and I swear she was drunk, so called 911 on her.
Other than that 1 driver, I was most impressed with how well everyone did on my trip.
Nothing out of the ordinary, no dangerous passing, or stupid antics.
Good going to all the wonderful drivers I witnessed.
I never saw an accident either.
